Established in 1988 as a private foundation under Swiss law, the Pro Victimis Foundation's primary mission is to alleviate the plight of forgotten victims of natural or man-made disasters. PVF funds development and reconstruction aid programmes at the request, in general, of non-governmental organisations or social entrepreneurs. Priority is given to victims who receive little or no assistance.
